Karma Dancing With Shadows
This corner of the world is mine where I come to write, claim my independence, feel, think and write what's on my mind in the hopes that sharing experiences of being the daughter of a Narcissist can help others who are dealing with and overcoming the obstacles to regaining true emotional freedom.

It is time, Hillary, to step aside...
www.slate.com
It is time, Hillary, to step aside. Our nation needs to heal. It needs to heal from racial divisions, political divisions, religious divisions. Divisions at home, in our schools, at our workplaces. You need to step aside, Hillary, and put your personal aspirations and agenda behind what is best for our country. Yes, you would have been the first woman to be president of the United States, and that would have been great. But it is not enough to heal the country. There may be another time for you to leave your mark, but now is not the time.
It is time, Hillary, to step aside. The people have spoken. We are tired of the same old same old. What you would be bringing to the Presidency on day one is more of the same. Your experience and your methods are based in institutions that have seen their time, are in the state of decay and need to be laid to rest. They need to be torn down on day one, the slate needs to be cleaned and the American people need to be given a voice.
It is time, Hillary, to step aside and let our next president be what the people need: A leader. After your husband’s tenure ending in controversy and drama and our current president garnering more shame than anything else, it is time for America to have a leader. Someone who can inspire and instill hope. Someone who can command respect from our peers in the international community and neighbors in our back yards. Someone who we, as Americans, can proudly say represents us as a people.
It is time, Hillary, to step aside. To step aside and let the inevitable happen in a unified voice. The people need you to join in the cause of change and abandon what you think you know. It is not important who wins the election. It is important that the candidate who shouts the loudest with the people’s voice continues to be heard.
It is time, Hillary, to step aside. If, somehow, you win the democratic nomination, you will win the battle, but lose the war. You do not have a history of having your own, unique voice. You do not have a history of knocking the system. Rather, you have a history supporting the institutions. The people want change and McCain’s record supports this more than yours does. If you win the nomination over Obama, McCain will be the next president.
It is time, Hillary, to step aside. To hold your head high and say you fought the good fight. To stop your political engine from tearing a good man apart and instead turn it around to support him. To be able to look back one day and sit with your future grandchildren and tell them how you did the right thing when it counted. To stop seeking a win for yourself and seek a win for the people.
The time is now, Hillary. Not tomorrow or next week or a month from now, but now. The time is now before your bright fire fades any further from who you really are. Save yourself, save your country. The time is now to step aside and support the one who needs to be elected for the good of us all. The time is now, Hillary, to do what’s right. The time is now, Hillary, to step aside.
*But as we know with Hillary, the words "Clinton" and "loosing gracefully" are not often found together in the same sentence. Hillary was promised this job only months ago. She was to be the first woman President in the history of the United States. She was measuring the drapes for the White House and penciling in her appointments. Might the Clintons once again be in a position to rent the Lincoln bedroom to campaign donors and employ the Oval Office as a massage parlor? Might they have jobs lined up for the immigrants?

Dancing with Shadows

- a mix of 'tude...fortitude, solitude and attitude. I have an unhealthy addiction to intelligent, free-thinkers, red vine licorice, vitamin water, raw carrots and sitting on my back porch with a good book becoming one with nature
